A few moments ago I received two emails from a certain OBN Joe Wolf and his old email account email@example.com that looked suspiciouly like spammer/hacker jargon. The old, “WOW, you should look at this link” bait.
I immediately sent Joe a text and asked if he was purposely sounding like a he’s been emailed hacked and he replied NO.
We got to the bottom of how it had happened (he received an email just like it that because he knew the person, he clicked on the link) and how he could fix it. But at the end of the conversation we realized that he had used that email account for quite a bit of OBN work in the past and chances are, a lot of you got the same email from his hacked account.
If you are lucky enough to read this before checking mail than heed this — DELETE DELETE DELETE
Sorry about that folks. The spammers of the Internet world are like the ticks of the forest. Hard to see and tricky little buggers.
