Friday notes – on a Friday!

This version of Friday Notes comes on an actual Friday, so we’re already one step ahead of the game.

I’d like to start with an observation of sorts – this runaway train that is the OBN continues to grow at an amazing rate.  We’ve now eclipsed 1,330 registered blogs and continue to reach across the globe.

Recent additions include Canyoning Guara, an extreme sport canyoning blog from Spain,  Wilderness Hikes, a very cool hiking blog from El Salvador, Waldlaufer, a wildlife photography blog from Germany, Island Nature, a Nature writing and photography blog from Vancouver Island, BC, CA, and bchm fly fishing, a dual language – French and English – flyfishing blog from Montreal, Quebec CA.

It’s just amazing to me that these fine blogs found our little slice of the web.  We know we owe the success of this site to all of you and we wanted to thank you again, all of you, for displaying our OBN badge on your sites – it’s actually quite humbling.
