Something for the Shooters this time – Blackhawk Sportster Bipods!

This week we get to welcome Blackhawk into our growing family of OBN supporters.  Anyone who is a serious shooter knows Blackhawk for their extensive range of holsters and tactical accessories for shooters.  They are a leading US – that’s right, made in the USA – manufacturer of tactical, military, shooting sport, and law enforcement equipment.

Blackhawk recently launched the Sportster line of accessories and has agreed to send 2 of the new bipods – 1 Sportster and 1 Sportster Traversetrack –  to OBN shooters for use and review.  Details are as follows:

Effective long range shooting requires two simple things, accuracy and stability. BLACKHAWK!® meets both of these requirements in its own unique way with the introduction of the Sportster™ line of bipods.  Providing unshakeable prone and bench shooting, the new line of bipods is characterized by high quality materials, an innovative design and a price point that won’t break the bank.

A perfect fit on any sporting or tactical rifle, the new Sportster line of bipods feature no-rust anodized legs with increased spring tension, giving shooters the confidence needed for long-range shooting. Compact, lightweight and one of the sturdiest rests on the market, the Sportster line is available in three, dependable models.

For those shooters who require the simplest of bipods, the Sportster bipod is ready for deployment. With four sizes, providing heights from 6 inches up to 29.25 inches, the Sportster bipod is easily attached for any application.

At the top of the bipod line is the new BLACKHAWK! Sportster Traversetrack™. Featuring a horizontal traverse for smooth target acquisition and tracking. The all-metal constructed Sportster Traversetrack also employs pivot action for level shooting on uneven terrain. The rapid-adjust lever lock and robust tubular leg construction gives shooters quickness and stability when needed most. The Sportster Traversetrack is available in four sizes ranging from 6 inches up to 23 inches.
