Outdoor Blogger Connections ~ Trout Unlimited

The Cast of Characters

Back at the beginning of summer, the OBN along with Trout Unlimited held a writing contest that brought the winners together for a Montana fishing retreat. By the sounds of it, they all had a fantastic time and made memories that will last a lifetime.

They’ve all had time to reflect on their experience and you can read all about it now.

From Left To Right:

Travis from the Tailout ~ check out his archives from July.

Owl Jones ~ check out his Angling Across America Series.

Chris Hunt from Eat More Brook Trout ~ I’d say, just check out his entire blog =)

Sanders from Up the Poudre ~ great commentary in July archives.

Corey Fisher ~ who gasp…doesn’t have a blog?

And that guy on the far right?

That’s  Mike from Mike’s Gone Fishing…Again ~  he has all of his Montana posts here.

Enjoy!

Hey, hey now. There’s a whole series of training videos. Yeah, like uphill walk, strength by pizza, hi-tech workout. Make sure you see ‘em all. Speaking of which, I hope in a year to be able to look back and say ….” WHO was that FAT slob?” :)
I’ve lost 6 pounds in two weeks. That’s right. That’s right. I’ve lost just under a wiener-dog’s worth of weight. oh yeah. yip, yip. woof, woof. all that jazz.

Keep up the good work, my friend… It wouldn’t hurt me to join you in this little “get smaller” quest. I might have to do that, too… Hope you’re well…

Thanks Owl, I will have a look at your other videos when my internet link speeds up later (one of the problems of rural living!). I think I will also join upacreek333 & yourself in shedding a few pounds too, perhaps between us we can loose a full kennels worth of wiener dogs :o )
