John Montana from the blog Carp on the Fly and Mctage from the blog Fly-Carpin got together this summer for some carp catching fun.
By the looks of all the photos on both of their blogs they most certainly caught some big fish and had a great time together.
Read about their Outdoor Connection on their blogs, butter them up for a future invite and who knows, you might just be holding a big old carp you caught on the Fly:

Enjoy the posts everyone!

Having seen folks catch 100+-lb. tarpon on flies, I know it can be done, but I’m still in awe of the skill involved — including w/that carp/horse in the bottom shot! Beautiful!
Interesting new series Rebecca. I like it. There is no doubt that trip was the best and funnest travel trip I have ever taken. And that carp that John caught was an absolute monster. It seemed like his net was full with an elephant as he was lugging it to shore.
A stunning carp! Beautiful! Slightly larger than the ones we saw here:-
