Gear Review Opportunity ~ Flying Fisherman SunBandit™

In our effort to protect all OBN’ers from the harsh rays of summer sun, we bring another smart option in the battle against sunburns to the gear review opportunity of the week.

The fine folks from Flying Fisherman are also concerned about protection from the sun and this week they are offering two Outdoor Bloggers the chance to cover up, hide and otherwise fool the sun. Flying Fisherman is already known for it’s quality selection of sunglasses, so let us introduce the:

SunBandit™ Protective Headwear

  • Versatile garment can be worn many ways
  • Shape it to fit your needs
  • 100% polyester absorbs and wicks moisture
  • Breathable and wind resistant
  • Adds UV protection

Feel free to visit this link: THIS ONE to view all the different style available.

MSRP: 15.99

So there you go. Two comments will be picked by the always happy RNG to try out a SunBandit this summer. Now go forth, sunscreen up and leave your comment below…

Before you pull that comment trigger: Gear Review Opportunity is open to OBN Members with an Active Blog on the Outdoor Blogger Directory. By Commenting on this Entry you confirm you have read the Reviewer Guidelines and agree to the terms and conditions. Comments will be accepted until Sunday at 5 p.m. MST. Winning comment (s) will be selected by the Random Number Generator and announced this coming Monday on the OBN. Please check back to see if the RNG has shined upon you, we don’t track down winners…

I’d be up for it…is it better than a BUFF?

  2. 2

Oh yeah I’m in. This would work great for keeping me hidden from view during the summer so as to continue with my Ghost personae.

  3. 3

I think I need one! Looks like it would be useful while riding the river in the canoe or working in the garden, http://oldentimes.wordpress.com/2011/06/02/help-ive-been-invaded/
At any rate, I’d like to try it. TY

  4. 4

Definitely would be use this on all the hiking/fishing trips I have planned this summer!

  5. 5

Happy to compare to my new Buff…

  6. 6

Yes yes! I’m a sunscreen nazi so I’d love to have one of these, especially the Marlin Blue color!

  7. 7

oh yeah! I would love one of those now that I’m on the coast.

  8. 8

Count me in. That looks like it would help cover this big ole nose of my mine. It is always getting sunburn and so are my ears. Thanks for the opportunity.

    Trout.

  9. 9

my wife would be very, very happy if I was to get one of these!

  10. 10

I’m in…been looking to get one of these

  11. 11

Love to compare this to my Buff and Columbia neck gaurd!

  12. 12

Would love to give one of these a try – the river here can be a skin scorcher!

  13. 13

    i want some of that!!!

  14. 14

I’m in – looks like it’ll keep the sun and mosquitos out.

  15. 15

I’m so in. After a visit to the dermatologist for a spooky biopsy last week, I purchased a buff for 30-some-freaking dollars. Would be great to know if this cheaper alternative works better or just as well!

  16. 16

Please count me in as well. Need all the sun protection I can get.

  17. 17

I’m in and will have lots of opportunities to use it in the coming weeks and months!

  18. 18

    Count me in, thanks!

  19. 19

I’ll throw my hat in the ring!

  20. 20

I’m in! After all of these years of being on the water and taking in a lot of sun, time to take notice and get some protection! Thanks, as always.

  21. 21

Doubt I would prefer it to a hoodie, but I’m willing to try it to see. I’m in.

  22. 22

I’m in! I would like to try this in warm summer months!

  23. 23

I’d like to try it – is it as good as the BUFF products? Comparable?

  24. 24

Seems a fine thing to obscure me ugly mug from the wildlife that I always fail to get close too, guess I’m in then…

  25. 25

I’ve been wanting something like this

  26. 26

I would like to try this out.

  27. 27

Yes…I need this….I see less sunburned carp stalking in my future…

  28. 28

Good timing, I’ve been looking at getting a Buff but maybe I’ll hold up on that a few days!

  29. 29

Sign me up! I’ve had enough sun burns this summer already

  30. 30

In for sure…I never fish without my buff. Be nice to do some comparisons..

  31. 31

Here in Truckee, being closer to the sun; the protection this could offer would be great. Not to mention, when your face peels off into the water, the fish go for your skin-not your fly… Hi-5

  32. 32

Sign me up please. thanks, Roger
