New OBN Feature: First off, I wanted to say I’ve gotten some really great submissions for the new Reader Submitted Blog Entries Feature! Not that I had any doubts, but you guys certainly know how to spot a great blog entry. Next week I’ll be rolling out the first edition of this new feature….something to the tune of “Outdoor Reader Seal of Approval” ….or?
Blogger Good Cause: The Tailing Loop is having a raffle now through June 1st to raise money for Project Healing Waters. The fly fishing swag that is being given away is top notch and I for one plan on scooping up a few raffle tickets of my own. Get on over and read the details here: TTL Project Healing Water Raffle
Blogger Gear Review: Emily from Scent Free Lip Gloss has review the SOG Aura Hunting Knife here. We have reposted it on the review log here. This is a great review of her new (non-shared…all her own) knife and from what I read, her only con is that she might be asked to help skin more animals in the future. Sounds like a good thing!
Blogger Gear Review: Tom from Dispatches from the Middle River has review his Montana Fly Company Fly Tying materials here. We have reposted it on the log here. He whipped up a hat full of flies, so I’d say this review was a success. Now I’ll wait patiently for my very first ‘shop-vac’ fly…
Blogger Gear Review: Clif from Lunker Hunt has reviewed the Berkley Havoc Soft Baits here. We have reposted it on the review log here. There’s a whole ‘lotta interesting looking soft baits going on in this review and Clif has done a great job going over every one of them. Check it out if you are gearing up for Bass season!
Blogger Gear Review: The Bumbling Bushman has posted his review of The Original Muck Boot, Woody EX Pro Boots here. We have reposted his review here. If you have been thinking about acquiring a new pair of boots lately, be sure to check out this great review of boots that were put to the test. Your feet will like love you for it.
Blogger Gear Review: JM from the blog Something’s Fishy has reviewed the Okuma Citrix Baitcaster here. We have reposted it on the log here. Fishing season is here and it’s time to gear up with reels that make the experience better. Check out this fantastic review and see if an Okuma is what you need!
