Outdoor Photo Prompt ~ Most Un-Frame Worthy Outdoor Photo You Got

This weeks Outdoor Photo Prompt was inspired by Joe from the blog Flowing Waters (ok, ok, and of the OBN) but I have to mention, it had a firm ‘second’ as a good idea by Foggy Mountain Meanderings over on the forum, so I’m game!

Although an ambitious little guy for grabbing such a big fly, he's never made it onto my Outdooress Blog

Here’s what Joe said, “We HAVE TO have a “Smallest Fish” or “Most un-trophy-like Trohpy” photo prompt.  If we can’t make fun of ourselves – who can we make fun of??

He’s right. Let the humility (or is that Humbling by Miss Mother Nature herself?) begin. So lets see it.

Smallest fish? Un-trophy-like Trophy? Smallest Mountain you ever climbed? Your Canoe stuck up on the rocks?  Mountain bike stuck in 2 feet of mud?

Or maybe look at it like this…post the photo that most likely will never find itself in a photo frame in your house.

Once you have posted your photo, don’t forget to come back here and add your thumbnail link to your post so we can all go check it out. Just click the “You’re next” below and follow the instructions. (Hint: It’s easy to grab the photo from the web) and hit submit.

  1. 1

Great – now I have to do a blog post!!

  2. 2

There’s a reason why some pictures don’t get framed…I wish that I had a “small fish” picture! haha

  3. 4

I’m known and chastised for my posting of the little fish I catch. I like catching little fish, makes me feel like a little kid. Since I don’t have the patience and am severely ADHD when it comes to things like Linky Tools (I read the title, a couple of words, then clicked back here to get off that site as quickly as possible) I’ll just put up a link to a post I made in November that proves my point.

I went ahead and posted your link up in the Linky tools as well…hope you don’t mind because those are some great teenie fish pictures! Can’t believe that one little fish, the lure is as big as his mouth.

      I call that Ambition!

Thanks Rebecca. Sorry I’m that way, but I have a short attention span for those types of things.

I have odder pictures, but I knew I had done that relatively recent post. It’s amazing how some fish will try to eat things as big as them.

Messed up. Wondering how to delete

Picture number 4 tells it all , On a trip on October 3rd last year on RIVER X ( yes they have small fish there too ) . . . This one is the only one to make it to the net on that imfamous trip ! ! Maybe just 4″ long and thats no fish story ! a fish is a fish ! !

  6. 10

That was a good prompt. I’ve been wanting to show off my friend’s overzealous perch. And yes, I posted my own, too.

  7. 11

I only did the post because I am certain i win the prize for smallest fish…what?..no prize!…Please disregard my blog post. :)

  8. 12

    These are awesome!

  9. 13

See a trout with an appetite for a fly bigger than its eye: http://konoske.net/archives/4164. Enjoy!

  10. 14

I took the prompt and posted a little something on my blog but the Linky thing won’t work for me.
