One of the great bonuses of adding the OBN Forum is the ideas, suggestions and genius we’ve received from so many Outdoor Bloggers. In one thread, I asked for writing/photo prompt ideas and jackpot! I have enough new ideas to keep us going for awhile now. Thank you everyone!
I have other reels, but, I can't leave home without this one...
So when it comes to parents, siblings, kids, friends, pets, we all know we aren’t (technically) allowed to pick favorites.
But when it comes to our Outdoor Gear, I believe we all tend to pick favorites, bestow sentimental value on certain things and either never leave home without that one item or if we do, we feel like we’ve left a good friend at home.
So for this photo prompt, show us your favorite piece of Outdoor Gear. Is it a knife, a gun, a fly rod, a hiking stick, a comfy sleeping bag, a rock you picked up that brings you good outdoor luck? Take a picture and share it with the rest of us, feel free to write up why you count it as a favorite.

I’m gonna have to take a picture of my steelhead set up. It’s a Shimano Symetre 2500, on a Okuma Celilo 9’6 ML rod. very sweet set up
