Featured Outdoor Bloggers of the Week ~ 12/27/10

~ Christmas is over and we hope every one had a great holiday ~
~ Now, back to our regularly scheduled program on the OBN ~

of Dry Flies & Fat Tires

Our first featured Outdoor Blogger of the Week comes from the Mountain Biking Category/Fly Fishing:  Mike Heitman of the blog Of Dry Flies & Fat Tires ~ musings of fly fishing and mountain biking in the West

Mike is a Husband, Father, Architect, fly angler, mountain biker, hiker and friend of fishes. He also has a great personality that really shows through with his humorous side on his blog. He posts a lot of pictures and fills in the space with daily antidotes, adventures, thoughts, videos and thoughts. He mixes it up on his blog, so be sure to check in often to see what he’s up to ~

International Sporting Clays

Our second featured Outdoor Blogger of the week comes from the Target Shooting Category: Jason King of the blog International Sporting Clays.com~Sporting Clays and FITASC News, Articles and Reviews.

Visually, Jason’s blog is arranged in a magazine  style, and he’s put it together in a easy to navigate, appealing blog. His content is original, informative, engaging and full of photos and videos. If you’ve never experienced Target shooting or have, we highly suggest you visit his blog and familiarize yourself with all that he has to offer.

Hannibal's Animals

Our final Featured Outdoor Blogger comes from the Outdoor Photography Category: Hannibal writes the blog Hannibal’s Animals~Photographing the Outdoors in north-central Illinois

Now, just to be clear, Hannibal does not eat people. It’s just a nickname! However, Hannibal does post wildlife photography that captivates. Beautiful colors, vibrant imagery and a quiet type capturing of the world around us.

To swipe a quote off the welcome greeting~ “My photography is about sharing a moment with nature, and capturing the natural behavior we don’t usually see.”

You only have to scroll through a few photographs to see exactly what that means. Enjoy!

You must spend as much time down there as I do..Are you the lady I have stopped to talk with, in the white suv? I have always wanted to ask that lady if she was hannibal….but that just sounds to crazy.. the eagles should be coming soon, maybe our paths will cross.
