Featured Outdoor Bloggers of the Week

I Don't Wear Pink Camo to the Woods

Welcome to our First Featured Outdoor Bloggers of the Week. These three outstanding bloggers will have a RSS Feed here on the OBN for the next 7 days. We hope you visit their blogs throughout the week and add them to your readers.

Our Featured Hunting Blogger for this first edition is Kari Murray, writer of I Don’t Wear Pink Camo to the Woods~A Wisconsin Chick’s Journal of Outdoor (Mis)Adventures.

Kari is a wife, mother and huntress extraordinaire. She spends her time hunting various types of game, both small and big in her home state of Wisconsin and archery is her specialty. I can’t help myself here… I’d also like to mention she has taken the largest whitetail in her household (sorry to the hubby for pointing out this fact) with her bow. Well done Kari!

Kari started her blog in August of 2009 and it’s grown into a popular go to site for entertaining hunting stories and outdoor observations. Check out her bucket list (I’ll help you with #15 Kari!) and her trophy room. We hope you enjoy her blog as much as we do.

Unaccomplished Angler

Our Featured Fishing Blogger is Kirk Werner of the Unaccomplished Angler ~ Fish look the Other Way…

Kirk is a fly fisherman at heart, an Author of a series of children’s fly fishing books, Olive the Little Woolly Bugger and the graphic designer of the Outdoor Blogger Network Logo.

The Unaccomplished Angler, is written with a (very) humorous slant or look at Kirks fly fishing adventures.  He has a way of writing about fly fishing that is entertaining, engaging and often ends with a hearty laugh. He just celebrated his 1 yr. blog anniversary and we hope you enjoy his sense of humor as much as we do.

Musings of Murphyfish

Our Featured Outdoor Blogger of the week is John Wooldridge, writer of Musings of Murphyfish ~ Outdoor Meanderings.

John started his blog in Sept. 2009, and writes about a wide range of outdoor adventures, from simple observations, to fishing, to hikes on the Welsh trails with his four-legged companion, Lucy – fondly referred to as the “Bog Monster”.

John comes to us from UK and truly adds an International flavor to our collection of bloggers.  His writing style is captivating, and we think you’ll enjoy following his musings as much as we do.

About Rebecca

When Rebecca isn't running the Outdoor Blogger Network, she is off Fly Fishing her favorite rivers. Occasionally she writes about those adventures at The Outdooress.

Just want to say thanks and mention that it’s a great honor it is for me and my little ol’ hunting blog to be one of the first Featured Outdoor Bloggers here on the OBN.

I’m truly grateful you found my blog worthy of this, and look forward to all the awesome blogs that will follow in the weeks, and years, to come.

    Thanks again so very much!

  2. 2

Just to echo Kari’s sentiments, I’m extremely humbled and surprised to be included as a featured blogger. I’m sure that Kari’s right and that there will be many more excellent blogs to appear here and that the OBN will go from strength to strength.
    With thanks,
