We are go for Pre-Launch…

It's Time

The carpet is rolled out, the paint is almost dry and the door is finally open here at the Outdoor Blogger Network.

Joe and I are excited to see where this adventure leads not only us, but the people who participate in this centralized location of other people doing exactly what we all do:

Write about the Great Outdoors.

We’ve decided that Monday the 18th of October will be the ‘official’ launch day and until then we’ll be working out any site issues or layout challenges we might encounter that wouldn’t have been noticed until real use. As visitors come by this website prior to the 18th there is a chance you could encounter an ‘issue’ and we’d really appreciate it if you let us know. Technology, sometimes a great thing, sometimes a real pain…in the neck.

If you have any suggestions about what you would like to see here on the site, let us know that as well. We will always remain a work in progress and have every intention of adjusting to what the people who support this website would like to see…more of…less of..something new…etc.

We’ll be announcing a great “Launch Giveaway” in the next few days, so make sure and subscribe to the OBN so you don’t miss any exciting news. Thank you to everyone that has already submitted their Blog to the Outdoor Blog Directory, we have no doubt that list will grow by leaps and bounds over the coming months.

We are Excited!
Rebecca & Joe

“Wow” is a great beginning. I am super excited about your endeavor and Blog Cabin Angler is extremely proud to be one of the initial blogs “to get on boat”! I would be more than happy to contribute and assist in any way I can to make this a big success.

Your Directory link to Bass Pundit doesn’t work. I think you got one to many http’s in the url.

@Mel ~ Thank you! And….we’ll probably take you up on that!
@BP ~ Fixed! Thank you for joining the Outdoor Directory, the Bass needed some representation on that list =)

There are already a lot of blogs listed on this site. Personally, in some cases to save me clicking on all of them (!), I would like to know which country they are from/talking about. My blog is about 18th century living history in general, but some posts concern Australia specifically, because that is where I live. Much of my posts are of interest internationally, but still people in Australia may be looking for Australian blogs, like I am.
So if it is not too much trouble, any chance of listing the country next to each blog? Pretty please.
